Muh Saturday
First Saturday With a Blog
I feel that tend I spend the weekdays filling my head with things to do during the weekend. Yet once the Saturday hits it flies by like a yuppie in his new car, and I am left with only half of what I wanted done. This weekend however is going quite nicely. Here are the things I did today.
Swept AABB progress
I started this repo for me to focus on implementing just the algorithm and nothing else. Which makes it way easier to debug in a codebase than to debug both the algorithm and the game’s code. I didn’t quite get to the meat and potatos of the algorithm yet but what I have should be an okay starting point.
Outside of ze cod
Went out to eat with family and found this cool looking hallway.
I thought of a new song idea about a weird monster creature, ’tis the season because Halloween.
I also restrung the G and B strings on the family’s steel string guitar.
For Tommorrow…Hopefully
I will continue to work on the aforementioned swept AABB algorithm. I may also install Alpine Linux on one of my systems because I loved it on JSLinux and I met people online that say its great. I am not much of a distro hopper but despite how much I love Debain, its slow package release cycle has forced me to install software by hand, which makes me scared I may encounter dependency hell at some point. That’s about it, thanks for reading.
